Several people are behind bars after several drug busts.
Deputies arrested six people in Georgiana for allegedly distributing marijuana.
The busts happened around 4:00 a.m. this morning.
Cars, trucks, four wheelers, and guns were also confiscated by authorities.
Sheriff Kenny Harden says “thanks to the voice of the community, deputies decided to take action.”
“we’ve got a lot of complaints from people asking us to do something about it, and we’ve been working on it for several months, and I would tell them give us time we are working, and we showed this morning that we have been working, and we’re going to continue to work. Anytime we get any information about drug activity we are going to work it.” says Harden.
