On Monday, law enforcement agents with the Alabama Department of Corrections Investigations and Intelligence Division arrested a corrections officer at St. Clair Correctional Facility in Springville for possession of illegal narcotics. Alabama Department of Corrections Investigations and Intelligence Division agents are investigating an inmate’s death. The death occurred on October 7th at William E. Donaldson Correctional Facility. Montgomery police have charged a man with attempted murder in an incident outside the Sam’s Club on Eastern Boulevard that left a police officer injured.
