Alabama News Network Is Taking Action Against Crime

Tonight — The death of Mark Watkins was found dead six years ago outside of a friend’s home on Lark Drive in Montgomery. The Montgomery County District Attorney’s Office says the murder happened in February 2008, when Watkins walked outside and heard a car drive by and honk its horn. He was shot in the chest and died of those wounds. The identity of the shooter is still a mystery.

State Troopers Investigating A Fatal Wreck In Pike Co

State troopers are investigating a fatal accident in Pike County. They say the victim was a Troy resident identified  as 48 year old Herbert Pollard, who was a passenger in the vehicle. Judge Convicts Montgomery Man Of DUI Murder

A judge has convicted a Montgomery man of DUI murder. Kevin Croskey plead guilty to the murder of Ashley Mock and the Assault of her boyfriend Jeremy Gaines. Investigators say he was traveling on Yarbrough Street as the couple was saying goodnight when the SUV Croskey was driving struck both of them last October. Investigators say Croskey had a point .24 blood alcohol…

Sheriff’s Vehicle Strikes 5 Year Old Kid

A 5-year-old child is recovering after being struck by a Chambers County sheriff’s vehicle in Valley. A sheriff’s report says the child ran out from between two parked cars near Milano’s Grille on Saturday and was struck by the vehicle. Charles Henderson Player Dies After Collapse at Game

An Alabama high school football player who collapsed on the field during a game has died. Authorities said 17-year-old Charles Henderson High School senior cornerback Demario Harris collapsed during the second quarter of Friday night’s game against Davidson in Troy.
