Autaugaville Sunflower Fields Now Open to the Public
The fields are open everyday from sunrise to sunset for the 10 days the sunflowers are in bloom.

Carrington Cole is a Reporter/MMJ for WAKA Action 8 News. She also works in the Creative Services Department editing station promotion and commercials.
Carrington was born and raised in Montgomery and has always dreamed of working in the media industry. She is a 2019 Auburn University graduate with a degree in Visual Media and a minor in Theatre.
Carrington interned with WSFA in Montgomery and War Eagle Productions while finishing her bachelor’s degree. She moved to Atlanta after graduating college where she worked in a production company before moving back to Alabama in 2020.
She has been working with WAKA since May 2021 and has been excited to learn more about the media industry.
When she’s not working, Carrington loves shopping for clothes and getting new books to read. At home, she’s usually curled up with her cat while watching a horror movie.

He qualified in the top 42 riders out of 900 other racers for the Loretta Lynn Championship.
All of the tomatoes and corn at the lunch were grown locally and donated for the event.
Each summer, Camp Conquests hosts a week long experience on Lake Martin where campers meet with others who have also been through a fire experience.
Trooper Golden and Baby Legend officially met in May.
They started this event to thank the sanitation workers who don't get recognized for all the work they do for the River Region.
Every Tuesday afternoon this June and July, guests can receive half off regular price admission.
The festival is in honor of the legendary country singer and Georgiana native Hank Williams who left a lasting mark in country music.
The automotive company is looking specifically for maintenance team members to join the Hyundai family.
The campers can enjoy activities at the Camp Grandview water park, fishing pond, hiking trails, and archery range all led by qualified counselors.
