TUSCALOOSA, Ala. - The first two-a-day practice of Alabama's 2015 fall camp got underway on Tuesday at 9:30 a.m. as the Tide put together a two-hour session in full pads on the Thomas-Drew Practice Fields. The Crimson Tide's second practice of the day is set for a 7:30 p.m. start in shells.
The defense won Auburn's first scrimmage of the preseason Monday, and coach Gus Malzahn said it wasn't even close. "The defense completely dominated the scrimmage," Malzahn said of the 90-play practice in Jordan-Hare Stadium. Malzahn said it was the most dominant performance by a defense "since I've been a head coach." The offense didn't have a touchdown.
While the legislature still hasn't been able to come up with a way to balance the budget, one senator is taking matters into his own hands.
