Savanna Sabb is the co-anchor for Action 8 News Rising, which can be seen from 4:30-7:00AM.

Savanna joined WAKA in 2019 as a News Assistant before launching her weekly “What’s Happening” reports on community events in the summer of 2022.

Savanna is a graduate of Auburn Montgomery. She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications and a minor in Spanish. She is also a graduate of Wetumpka High School.

Savanna was an intern in the Public Information External Affairs Office for Montgomery Mayor Todd Strange. She has also worked as a counselor for the YMCA Goodtimes Branch and volunteered for the One Place Family Justice Center.
