Teresa Lawson is a Reporter/MMJ for WAKA Action 8 News.
Teresa was born and raised in Butler County and developed a love for news in middle school, dreaming of becoming a TV news reporter. She attended Auburn University, receiving a Bachelor’s Degree in Liberals Arts.
Teresa interned with WSFA and began her career there as a news content specialist, later accepting a position with WAKA as a TV news producer. Teresa enjoys working in most areas of the newsroom but especially enjoys entertainment news.
She loves the Lord, her church and family, spends her free time reading or shopping and still considers Auburn her second home.
