Quentin Grimes scored 22 points to lead Houston on a frantic second-half comeback in a 63-60 win over Rutgers. Tramon Mark finished it off with soaring go-ahead tip-in that led to a three-point play with 24 seconds to go, leading the second-seeded seed Cougars on Sunday night into the Sweet 16. The game ended when Ron Harper Jr. missed a potential tying 3-pointer for the Scarlet Knights. Houston will play No. 11 seed Syracuse for a spot in the Midwest Region finals.

Brandon Ingram and Zion Williamson each scored 30 points and the New Orleans Pelicans overcame another triple-double by Nikola Jokic to beat the Denver Nuggets 113-108. Nickeil Alexander-Walker added 20 points for the Pelicans, who won the finale of a road trip after dropping their first two games in Portland. Jokic had 29 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists for his 52nd career triple-double, including 11 this season. Jamal Murray added 23 points.
