College Basketball season is right around the corner, and Alabama and Auburn picked to finish one and two in the SEC according to the Media Poll.
Alabama picked to win the SEC in the Media Poll ahead of the 2024 season. Alabama’s Mark Sears was also chosen as the SEC Preseason Player of the Year.
The Alabama Crimson Tide has nailed down it’s 2024-25 conference schedule. Alabama’s SEC slate includes 18 games.
The Auburn Men’s Basketball adds another top ten matchup to their non-conference slate for the 2024-25 season. The Tigers will take on Houston in Houston at the Toyota Center on November 9th.
The Tigers and the Boilermakers will face off in Birmingham on December 21 and in Indianapolis in 2025
Indianapolis will host championships for all three NCAA divisions and the NIT in 2026, and the governing body’s men’s basketball committee has also approved including the Torvik and Wins Against Bubble rankings among metrics in evaluating teams for next year’s tournament.
Alabama’s matchups have been set for the SEC/ACC Challenge happening this December. The men’ team will take on North Carolina while the women’s team will take on Cal.
