NEW YORK (AP) — James Harden will miss Game 2 of the Eastern Conference semifinals Monday night because of right hamstring tightness. Harden left Brooklyn’s 115-107 victory over Milwaukee in Game 1 on Saturday night after just 43 seconds because of an injury that troubled him during the latter part of the regular season.
He grabbed at the upper part of his right leg on a drive to the basket and checked out after the Nets had to take a timeout.

NHL-BORDER RESTRICTIONS
NHL gets travel exemption
UNDATED (AP) — The NHL has received an exemption from Canadian health officials to allow cross-border travel for teams starting in the semifinal round of the Stanley Cup playoffs.
When in Canada, teams will be required to stay in a bubble and be tested daily for COVID-19, similar to the tight restrictions that allowed the NHL to stage and complete its playoffs in two hub cities last year. Teams will be assigned designated hotels and have no interaction with the public.
The exemption means the winner of the NHL’s West Division second-round playoff series between Colorado and Vegas will be allowed to travel to face the winner of the North Division second-round series between Winnipeg and Montreal.

Orioles score most runs since 2015, blow out Indians 18-5
UNDATED (AP) — Cedric Mullins hit a leadoff homer as part of a three-hit day, and the Baltimore Orioles scored their most runs since 2015 and had a season-high 21 hits in an 18-5 rout of the Cleveland Indians on Sunday,
Baltimore entered 24th among the 30 major league teams in scoring, then put across its highest runs total since beating Oakland 18-2 on Aug. 16, 2015.
After losing their final 14 games in May, the Orioles are 4-1 in June and won two of three against Minnesota to start their homestand.

Mullins reached base in his first five plate appearances before his flyout in the eighth ended his on-base streak at 11. He had hits in nine consecutive at-bats in that span, Baltimore’s longest streak since Charles Johnson’s nine in a row from Sept. 13-17, 1999, and one shy of Ken Singleton’s record from April 26-28, 1981.

The Blue Jays went 3-2 to open their residency at the home of their Triple-A affiliate.
