Nets return home, battered by injuries
NEW YORK (AP) — Down to Kevin Durant as their lone healthy superstar, the Brooklyn Nets limp home to host Game 5 of their NBA playoff series against the Bucks tonight.
Kyrie Irving has been ruled out for the game because of injuries. James Harden is now listed as doubtful. He hasn’t played since the opening minute of Game 1 because of right hamstring tightness.
The Bucks won both games in Milwaukee after the Nets had taken a 2-0 lead at home.

Diamondbacks hope to avoid record
SAN FRANCISCO (AP) — Approaching a dubious record, the Arizona Diamondbacks try to avoid their 21st consecutive road loss when they visit the San Francisco Giants. The major league mark is held by the 1963 New York Mets, who dropped 22 in a row away from the Polo Grounds. Arizona has lost 11 straight overall, its second double-digit losing streak this season.
Meanwhile, the Baltimore Orioles have dropped 16 in a row on the road heading into their game at Cleveland. Matt Harvey, who has lost seven of his past eight starts, faces Cal Quantrill and the Indians. Baltimore hasn’t won away from home since John Means pitched a no-hitter in Seattle on May 5.
Among the other games on the major-league schedule:
— Padres ace Yu Darvish starts against Colorado for the third time this season, taking on Charlie Blackmon at Coors Field. Darvish pitched a season-low four innings at Coors on May 12 despite allowing just an unearned run. He beat the Rockies in his next start, striking out 10 in seven scoreless innings.
— Braves rookie Tucker Davidson tries again for his first major league win after an impressive showing this season. The 25-year-old lefty is 0-0 with a 1.53 ERA in three starts, covering 17 2/3 innings. Davidson made his big league debut last season and lost in his only outing. Davidson and the Braves host the Red Sox, who start lefty Eduardo Rodríguez.
— Tampa Bay, winner of four straight and seven of eight, starts rookie lefty Shane McClanahan against Dallas Keuchel (KY’-kul) of the White Sox in Chicago.
— Taijuan Walker, who struck out nine last week against Baltimore, starts for the Mets at home against Alex Mills of the Cubs, who’s making his first start in more than two months.
