Subpoenas were issued to Gov. Robert Bentley and several other people and corporations Thursday for documents pertaining to the House Judiciary Committee’s impeachment investigation against the governor. Gov. Robert Bentley’s nonprofit group wants out of a wrongful termination lawsuit filed by the governor’s former law enforcement secretary. The Alabama Council for Excellent Government filed a motion Tuesday seeking to be dismissed as a defendant in the civil case.
