The State of Alabama wants you to prepare yourself and your property for the spring severe weather season.
State lawmakers in May passed the tax rebate plan that gives $150 rebates to single people and $300 rebates to married couples. Some 1.9 million people in the state are expected to qualify for the one-time payments.
The Alabama Department of Revenue is extending the time for drivers to get their March, April or May car registrations, renewals and to pay their vehicle taxes.
