A jury in Santa Monica, California, has found actor and comedian Bill Cosby liable in the sexual assault of a woman in 1972 and has awarded her more than $19 million.
A former Playboy model who alleges Bill Cosby drugged and sexually assaulted her and another woman at his home in 1969 is suing him under a new California law that suspends the statute of limitations on sex abuse claims.
The court said Wednesday that they found an agreement with a previous prosecutor prevented him from being charged in the case.
