Tributes are still coming in for a pioneer in Alabama journalism who passed away this week. Bob Gambacurta was found dead in his Montgomery home this past Tuesday.  He was 71.  During his career, Gambacurta easily flowed between both the world of print writing and TV journalism.  He was a news anchor at different stations in Alabama in the 1980’s….

Veteran Journalist Bob Gambacurta has died. He was found in his Montgomery home on Wednesday, no immediate cause of death determined. Gambacurta had been a host on the ABC Montgomery program “Good Morning Montgomery”, which moved to afternoons several years ago.
