Former Goodwater City Clerk Convicted on Theft of Property Charges

Attorney General Luther Strange announced the conviction today of a former city clerk of the City of Goodwater. Leslie S. Parker, 27, pleaded guilty to one count of theft of property in the first degree. The Coosa County Circuit Court sentenced her to 46 months in prison, suspended, and 5 years of probation. Child Dies after Being Hit by Car

On Friday, May 20 at approximately 1:30p.m. the Coosa County Sheriff’s Office received a 911 call from Liveoak Lane in the Stewartville Community.
