City Council fails to override Mayor’s veto regarding proposed luxury student housing
The city council voted 7-2 to allow four lots on Carter Hill Road to be rezoned on June 18, but the mayor vetoed it. The city council failed to override the veto Tuesday night, so a $3.8 million dollar student housing development project will not go forward.
