Parts of Alabama Experiencing a Severe Drought
Authorities say extreme drought conditions are persisting in some Alabama counties, with severe and moderate drought conditions still in place in larger parts of the state. The U.S. Drought Monitor released Thursday shows that the worst conditions – classified as “extreme” drought – are in the northeast corner of Alabama.
