A single-vehicle crash at 8:30 p.m. Monday, May 30, took the life of a Midway man. Bernard Jackson, 59, was killed when the Ford Expedition he was driving left Bullock County 106, approximately 15 miles northwest of Union Springs, and overturned. The Montgomery Police Department and Fire Medics responded to the 1000 block of East South Boulevard on the service road at about 5 a.m. Thursday, May 12, in reference to a crash involving a 2004 Lincoln Town Car and a pedestrian.
