Alabama State Troopers say the woman had stopped on the interstate to give aid to a person involved in a previous one-car crash when she was hit by a car and killed.
An overturned vehicle caused delays earlier this morning on Interstate 85. The wreck happened just before 6:00 this morning on I-85 South at Mulberry Street. One man sustained minor injuries.
