MPD: Juvenile Injured in Shooting Tuesday

Montgomery Police say a juvenile has life-threatening injuries after a shooting Tuesday afternoon. Police responded to the 2200 block of Semmes Drive around 4:20 Tuesday afternoon in response to a reported shooting.  Police say the juvenile male victim was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries. MPD Investigating Deadly Shooting Sunday Night

Montgomery Police have opened a homicide investigation after 61-year-old Sandra Smith was shot and killed Sunday night. Police say the shooting happened around 10:30 Sunday night near South Court Street and Huntley Drive.  Smith was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries and later died. The Tuskegee Police Department has opened two homicide investigations after deadly shootings Tuesday. Tuskegee Police have arrested 24-year-old Quantavious Jackson in connection to a shooting in the 500 block of Crenshaw Circle.  Jackson is charged with murder and is in the Macon County Jail.  Police say the victim in the shooting is a 26-year-old man. Montgomery Police are responding to a single vehicle traffic accident on Atlanta Highway near Coliseum Boulevard. The car left the roadway and collided into a brick column. Body of Missing ASU Student Found
