Montgomery Police have opened a homicide investigation after 61-year-old Sandra Smith was shot and killed Sunday night. Police say the shooting happened around 10:30 Sunday night near South Court Street and Huntley Drive. Smith was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries and later died.
