City of Montgomery Sees 34% Drop in Homicides So Far in 2022
So far this year, there have been 27 murders in Montgomery. This is compared to 39 murders in 2021.
Officers with the Montgomery Police Department were attempting to conduct a traffic stop Wednesday.
Police were called to the 4200 block of Strathmore Drive just after 9:00 a.m. Thursday.
Police say Christopher Williams was last seen on Saturday, July 9.
Police were called to the 3300 block of Harris Street just before 8:30 a.m. after receiving a report of a person shot.

Police say 26-year-old Keldrick Miles was shot in the 1900 block of Gibbs Drive just before midnight Saturday.
12-year-old Tony Williams, Jr. was last seen on June 13 wearing a black shirt with an Alabama football logo.
Police responded to the 4100 block of Piedmont Drive just after 9 p.m. in reference to a single-vehicle accident.
Police say 15-year-old Cameron Pettiway, of Montgomery, was shot and killed in the area of Highland Avenue and Summitt Street early Sunday morning.
The incident happened Monday night just before 11:00 p.m. in the 500 block of West Fairview Avenue.
