Memorial walk held for Montgomery shooting victim

Friends and family of a Montgomery man shot and killed held a memorial walk Monday evening. The Montgomery Police Department says 19-year-old Zhivago Hines was shot Saturday Sept. 24, around 11 p.m.  The shooting happened in the 600 block of Clinton Street.  Hines was taken to a local hospital where he later was pronounced dead. Montgomery police are investigating a shooting and a stabbing that happened Tuesday night.

Police are investigating a shooting and a stabbing that happened Tuesday night in Montgomery. The shooting happened in the 4400 block of Troy Highway, near the entrance to Brewbaker Magnet School. Investigators say the victim was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.  Police haven’t found the suspect.
