MPD Arrest Teen on Rape Charges

On Oct. 10, MPD charged Emanuel Bennett, 19, of Montgomery with two counts of first-degree rape and two counts of first-degree sodomy in connection with the sexual assault of a juvenile female. Arrest Made in Fairground Road Shooting

The Montgomery Police Department has made an arrest in the Wednesday, Oct. 5, shooting death of 41-year- old Tyler Sasser of Montgomery. MPD detectives charged Rodrick Senderson Jr., 22, of Montgomery with one count of murder. Senderson was taken into custody by the U.S. Marshals. Following his arrest, he was transported to the Montgomery County Detention Facility, where he was being held under a $300,000 bond.
