Alabama Court of Appeals Upholds Murder and Rape Conviction

Attorney General Luther Strange announced that the Alabama Court of Criminal Appeals on Friday upheld the murder and first-degree rape convictions of Shawn McClain.  McClain, 31, of Georgiana, was convicted in the Butler County Circuit Court in August of 2015 for the rape and murder of Dorothy Leatherwood. Suspect Convicted of 2014 Millbrook Murder

An Elmore County judge has returned a guilty verdict for a suspect charged in a 2014 murder in Millbrook. Jadrian Long has been convicted of the murder of 25-year-old Denard Williams of Montgomery.
