Selma Man Charged with Reckless Murder
Around 8:30 Wednesday night on Interstate 65 in Greenville, a man was hit and killed by a vehicle. Troopers say 27-year old Gene Schofield died when a vehicle hit him while on the shoulder. Schofield, a tow truck operator, was assisting another motorist at the time of the crash. Troopers have charged 36-year old Shawn Davis of Selma, with reckless murder….
