Cowgirls and cowboys from across the nation have been competing since Friday for cash and prizes in various roping and riding events at the SLE Rodeo.
The 2024 SLE Rodeo runs from March 15-17 at Garrett Coliseum in Montgomery.
The annual private event is for people who are having to deal with long term illness, disabilities and/or other challenges.

The SLE held their annual Miracle rodeo earlier today at Garrett coliseum. The ‘mini’ rodeo showcased some of the fun events that will be seen this weekend at the annual SLE rodeo. There were also some changes this year to the more than twenty year tradition.
The Southeastern Livestock Exhibition Rodeo is March 18-20 at Garrett Coliseum. There are many days worth of events beyond the rodeo performances.
The Alabama Cattlemen’s Association hosted its annual SLE Rodeo kickoff luncheon on Thursday, which means the rodeo isn’t far away.
This will be the rodeo’s 65th year taking place in Montgomery.
