Steven Reed Sworn-in as Montgomery’s First Black Mayor

Montgomery mayor-elect Steven Reed has officially been sworn-in as the city’s first black mayor. The city of Montgomery held an inauguration ceremony at the Montgomery Performing Arts Center in Downtown Montgomery. Nine of the newly elected city council members were also sworn-in.
