VFW Leader Charged with Embezzlement
An Alabama leader of a national veterans group has been arrested on a charge of embezzling from the organization. Court records show 45-year-old Johnny Lee Waller of Wetumpka is charged with theft after authorities said he took more than $2,500 from the Alabama Veterans of Foreign Wars.
