Habitat for Humanity Unveils Latest Faith Build Home in Montgomery

Habitat for Humanity is unveiling the latest home the organization has built. It was for a local family in need. The dedication service happened today on Millard Fuller Drive in Montgomery.Â
The home went to Katreecee Garrison and her two sons, Kevin and Jacoby.
Â
Seventeen congregations worked together to sponsor her home. Volunteers worked all throughout the month of November to complete the final stages of the Faith Build home, so the Garrison family moved into their new home just in time for Christmas!
Â
“In the last year, just working here, meeting people, and working every single Saturday for the last seven months has been a wonderful experience,” said Garrison. “I would advise anyone who wants to volunteer or work towards something and being a homeowner, habitat would be an excellent place to start that process.”
Â
Garrison’s home is in the Habitat for Humanity’s New Hope Village community. For more information on how you can help, call  Montgomery Habitat for Humanity at 832-9313.
