Annual Cub Scout Pine Wood Derby Race
Hundreds of Cub Scouts from Montgomery County showed off their skills at the annual pinewood derby race.
Each scout built his own car made out of pinewood with a kit, and a little help from their parents.
This is the second round of the competition.
The first round of local races happened back in january, and it’s a huge event for cub scout packs.
About a quarter of all the scouts in our area were there for the races, and organizers say that is one of the most important parts of the day.
