Montgomery Students Start Diabetes Ambassador Program

 Students in Montgomery come together to raise awareness for diabetes.
Resurrection Catholic School has partnered with Alabama Diabetes Program to start a Diabetes Ambassador Program. Â Seven students were appointed to help in the fight against the Diabetes Epidemic in the state.
The new ambassadors were pinned with a blue circle, which is the International Symbol for Diabetes.
The first Diabetes Ambassador duties will be educating fellow students, staff, teachers, and parents about Pre-diabetes and Type 2 Diabetes Prevention Awareness. Â
