Theodore Man Pleads Guilty in Dog Fighting Case
One of the 14 people arrested in connection with an Alabama dog fighting raid says he plans to plead guilty.
Irkis Forrest of Theodore filed court papers saying he intends to plead guilty to one count in the dog fighting case.
A judge has scheduled a hearing for May 2nd in Montgomery to accept the plea.
Most of the remaining defendants are scheduled to go on trial May 8.
Investigators seized 367 dogs in raids last August in Alabama and Georgia.
