Police Arrest Two Suspects in Most Recent Homicide
Montgomery police have arrested two suspects in the city’s most recent homicide. Brothers Christopher and Michael Sankey are each charged with capital murder. The arrest are for the shooting of 25 year old Derrick Varner over the weekend. Police say the shooting happened on Malvern Street. Varner was taken to a hospital where he was pronounced dead. Another victim was found on South Holt Street, but he is expected to recover.
