Alabama’s Unemployment Rate
Alabama’s unemployment rate has increased for the second month in a row. The counties with the highest unemployment rates are all in the black belt:  Wilcox at 16.4 percent, Perry at 13.2 percent and Dallas at 12.5 percent.  The lowest rate was in Shelby county at 4.8 percent.
