Gov. Bentley Approves Highway Safety Grant
Governor Bentley has approved a $1.7 million grant to make Alabama roads safer.Â
The money will be used to conduct extra traffic safety patrols and checkpoints targeting speeding, seat belt violations and drunken driving.Â
The money will also be used to purchase new breath analyzers to test for drunk driving.
