The attorney for former House district 76 candidate Maurice Rollins explains why Rollins is dropping out of the race. As Alabama News Network first told you, Rollins was arrested for Driving Under the Influence Saturday night. This after totaling his car in Pike Road. Rollins’ attorney – Joe Reed says he was not intoxicated and swerved to miss an animal. He also says the D-U-I charge is not why Rollins dropped out of the race, but that Rollins was having a hard time raising campaign money.
