Two High-Profile Cases are in Being Arraigned in Elmore County.
Defendants in two high-profile cases are in being arraigned in Elmore county. Former Stanhope Elmore high school coach Jeffrey Stanton has entered a plea. He pleaded not guilty to the charge of a Sexual Act with a Student. A 17 year old claimed he raped her in his classroom in February. Staton was also appointed an attorney this morning. His plea date has not been set. Stephen Conrad and his ex-wife Brandy Hughes are also scheduled for arriagnment today. Conrad is facing 15 charges of sexual abuse towards minors, and Hughes faces seven similar charges.
