Arrest Made After Seven Hour Manhunt

Autauga County deputies make an arrest after a seven hour manhunt.

Authorities say Christopher Wingard was taken into custody Monday evening.

Millbrook police say the hunt started Monday morning when officers say they tried to pull him over on Interstate 65, but he took off.

Millbrook police say Wingard was wanted for using a family member’s identity to avoid a theft charge from a shoplifting case.

Wingard will be held on a $10,000 bond.
