Gov. Robert Bentley was Live on CBS 8 at 5:00 to talk about issues facing Alabama and his goals if he’s re-elected.

News anchor Glenn Halbrooks asked Bentley if he thought the courts would soon overturn Alabama’s constitutional amendment outlawing gay marriage, as has been the case in many other states. The governor was also asked about his views on legalizing marijuana, especially in light of the state’s new “Carly’s Law”, which funds a study of a marijuana derivitive used to fight seizures.

Gov. Bentley also talked about his opinions on electronic bingo and whether the state should start a lottery.
