Madison Avenue Farmers Market Opens in Montgomery

      The farmer’s market on Madison Avenue is open again.

     Mayor todd strange and other officials held a grand re-opening this morning.
     The market was started in 1927 by the junior chamber of commerce and the auburn extension service.
     At first it was located at washington and perry street  and was later moved to madison avenue
vendors say they enjoy selling fresh produce at the market.
     The curb market started off with 12 vendors and has grown to more than 100.
