Montgomery Mayor Meets with Police Chief
Alabama News Network has learned Montgomery Mayor Todd Strange has met with Police Chief Kevin Murphy to discuss Murphy’s future.
Strange tells us that contrary to some reports, Murphy has NOT retired…or resigned.Â
Murphy has been on an extended leave of absence since his brother’s car wreck, and possible suicide. Â Â Â Â Â Â
Strange tells us he will meet with Murphy in the very near future to see how he’d like to go forward.
Chief John Brown is the interim police chief, taking on the primary leadership role.Â
