No Oil Spilled in Ala Train Derailment

Authorities say no oil was spilled in the derailment of a train carrying petroleum through Tuscaloosa.
Seven tankers were among the rail cars that went off the tracks on Monday afternoon in the Buhl area.
A spokesman for the Tuscaloosa County Sheriff’s Office says no oil was spilled, but area residents were evacuated from their homes for about 90 minutes as a precaution.
Federal safety officials will investigate the cause of the accident.
