Montgomery Police Department Investigates Late Night Fatal Shooting

The Montgomery Police Department has initiated a homicide investigation following the shooting death Friday night of Richard Davis, 24, of Montgomery.
On Friday, at about 10:30 pm., MPD responded to Jackson Hospital of a reported subject
with a life-threatening gunshot wound. The adult male victim, Richard Davis, was later
pronounced deceased.
The circumstances surrounding this fatal shooting are under investigation. No arrests
have been made. No additional information is available for release relative to this
ongoing investigation.
