The Demand for Blood is High but the Supply is Low
The demand for blood is high but the supply is low. Â According to the Red Cross, although about 38 percent of people can donate blood, less than 10 percent do. While they welcome all blood types, there is a specific need for O-negative, A-negative and B-negative blood.

Alabama News Network is  teaming up the American Red Cross to help save lives. This Tuesday come out to Eastdale Mall from 10 to 7 for the “Donor Round Up.”
