University Offers Program on Social Media Security

 

But a new course by Troy University aims to help you understand those vulnerabilities and how to respond to social media security breaches.

 

The 6-week online course is available to anyone, not just students. It’s offered through the university’s new professional development institute. 

 

Participants will prepare for the group–COMP TIA’s social media security certification exam, something that’s valuable in multiple fields. 

 

And the university is not just targeting IT professionals.

 

Assoc. Provost Academic Support Lee Vardaman said, “Social media is basically in every industry. You have to be prepared no matter if you are a fortune 500 company or a ma and pop. You are liable to be attacked.”
