Families Head to Gold Star Park for Memorial Day Fun
If you’re looking for something to do in Wetumpka for Memorial Day, Gold Star Park is a hot spot for warm weather fun. Families flocked there this weekend to spend time on the Coosa River.
“We really wanted to do something with the water since it was Memorial Day,” says Melissa Friessen. “We didn’t want to go too far, so we researched and found this wonderful park in Wetumpka…it’s been really nice.”
Gold Star Park will be open again to welcome visitors for the Memorial Day holiday.
