Details of Troy Tornado Released by National Weather Service

The National Weather Service has released its report on the tornado that hit Troy late Thursday night.

After a team surveyed the damage, it was determined that the tornado was an EF-1 with maximum winds of 100mph. It hit the Walmart shopping center at 10:35 p.m. and was on the ground for two minutes.

The National Weather Service says the tornado was about 50 yards wide and had a path 700 yards long.

According to the official report, six people were hurt, none of them seriously.
