Macon Co. “Operation Tiger” Leads to 44 Arrests

A total of 44 arrests in two days- that’s the result of an operation in Macon County involving more than 15 agencies.
Operation Tiger focused in on finding 59 suspects wanted for various felonies, including robbery, burglary, drug charges, all the way up to murder.
They are still looking for 15 suspects. The Sheriff says they couldn’t make as much progress as they did without the help from agencies from the federal, state and local levels.
Andre Brunson, Macon County Sheriff said, “We are a small community, they know we are lacking in personnel and vehicles and equipment so everybody wants to lend a hand and help. So I want everyone to know when they need us we will definitely be there for them too.”
And their search doesn’t stop there, here are some of the 15 people they did not find during the operation. Davison Alexander is wanted for on a gun related charge. And Anthony Parker is wanted for attempted first degree rape. Aubrey Bennett, charged with theft of property first degree. Shaheyne Thomas wanted for robbery and Joseph Ford wanted for murder
